The ingredients needed to prepare Curd Rice:

  1. Provide of For rice.
  2. Take 1 cup of regular rice.
  3. Take 2 1/2 cups of water.
  4. Prepare 2 cup of yogurt/dahi.
  5. Get 1/2 cup of milk.
  6. Use 1 tsp of sugar.
  7. Take to taste of Salt.

  9. Get 1 tsp of mustard seeds.

  15. Get 2 of greenchilles chopped.
  16. Get 2 of red chilles chopped.
  17. Use 1 tsp of ginger julliens.
  18. Prepare of For garnishing.
  19. Get 1 tbsp of tutty fruity.
  20. Prepare 2 tbsp of pomegranate seeds.
  21. Use 1 tsp of kismis.
  22. Use 1 tbsp of fried kaju.
  23. Provide 1 tbsp of coriander leaves chopped.

Instructions to make Curd Rice:

  1. Rinse rice in water 2-3 times then add rice and water in pressure cooker and cook for 5-6 whistles.
  2. When the pressure settles down on it's own, remove the lid and check the doneness of rice, the rice has to be more softer then what we cook on daily basis.
  3. Now using masher mash the rice, let rice cool in room temperature.
  4. Once it is cooled add curd mix well,break lumps if any then add milk, salt and combine everything well, now add sugar.
  5. Now for tempering.
  6. Heat oil in pan add mustard when it crackles add rest Ingredients mentioned below for tempering.
  7. Fry for a minute and switch off flame, let temper cool, once cools add to rice mixture and mix everything well.
  8. Now remove this in serving bowl and add ingredients for garnishing and keep in refrigerator.
  9. Serve chilled.
