Savoury Vegetarian Breakfast
Well Here it is the savoury Breakfast recipe which I think is easy to make and is healthy for sure. I have this recipe which is because my earlier recipe of banana crepe recipe which I has written as part of the easy breakfast crepes recipes was not really fit to be called as the savoury breakfast recipe.
I like oats very much and that is why I have the savoury vegetarian recipe of oats today.
Ingredients
10 tablespoons of oats
one small onion
two small tomatoes
Cut and diced green chilly
Lemon juice – 1/2 tablespoon
Salt
Oil
Chopped Beans
Chopped carrots
Mustard seeds
Steps to make the breakfast with oats
Take a pan and add oil to it. I would suggest not more than one tablespoon as otherwise the breakfast meal will not be crispy and would become sticky. Then add mustard seeds.
After about a minute or so add the potatoes and onions. Cover the pan and let the potatoes and onions get cooked for some time in medium heat. After some time add the beans and the carrots.
Next add tomatoes and let the entire pan contents be cooked over medium heat for about five to seven minutes. Make sure to add the salt to the mixture and then stir.
Remove the pan from the heat and add lemon juice to the mixture and it will give a nice favor and taste to the vegetarian oats mixture.
In fact you can use the whole wheat grains instead of oats and and this can be a great breakfast.

thanks for this entry – love your take on savoury oats – have recently got into them so am interested in how you do oats – though I can’t see oats in the instructions or potatoes in the ingredients. Would be interested to see when you add the oats.
I love savoury oats! And I also love veggies for breakfast.
